Why do some of my tweets show as Published in SocialOomph but don't show in my actual Twitter stream?

The reason why published tweets sometimes don't appear in your Twitter timeline is unfortunately a mystery. The only time that our system marks an update as Published is when the Twitter API accepted it for publication. It is impossible to know whether the update got lost somewhere inside Twitter's system, or whether they suppressed the update for some reason, or whether it is not showing in the Twitter stream for another unknown reason.

The best course of action is to:

  1. Reauthorize access to your Twitter account by using Social Networks, Social Profiles in the menu and clicking the Refresh Authorization button of the Twitter profile. Then click the Authorize Access button and follow any authorization prompts. This is to ensure that the authorization is still current and valid. If that does not solve the problem, then please ask for assistance at help.twitter.com.
  2. Reschedule the update for publication at a future date and time. If the update is in a queue reservoir that is recycling used updates, then you don't need to do anything.
